Draft — not yet legal advice. This document is a working first draft for review. It must be finalized and approved by qualified counsel before Wayluma collects data from real families. It does not yet constitute Wayluma’s binding policy.
Terms of Service
Last updated: (draft) · Draft for counsel review
These terms govern your use of Wayluma. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Wayluma is — and is not
Wayluma is a consumer tool that helps you organize and understand documents related to an aging relative’s care. It explains paperwork in plain language and points you to the office that can confirm coverage.
Wayluma is not a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, lawyer, insurer, or government agency, and it is not a HIPAA covered entity. It does not provide medical, legal, or benefits-eligibility advice, and it never determines whether you qualify for a program. Always confirm anything about medications, treatment, coverage, or eligibility with the appropriate professional or the office named on each card. Wayluma is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare, the Social Security Administration, any state Medicaid agency, SHIP, or any program it names.
Your account and your family circle
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You are responsible for what you upload and for inviting only people who should see a parent’s information. Only invite family members or caregivers who are authorized to view that information.
- Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Don’t upload data you have no right to share, or use Wayluma to harm or surveil another person.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service.
- Don’t rely on Wayluma for emergencies — call 911 or your provider for urgent medical needs.
Plans and payment
Wayluma offers a free plan today. Paid features may be offered in the future; if and when they are, the price, billing terms, and any auto-renewal will be disclosed clearly before you are charged, and you will be able to cancel. Nothing on the marketing pages is an offer to sell until checkout is available.
No warranty
Wayluma is provided “as is.” While we work hard to be accurate and to never invent a figure or deadline, coverage rules vary by state, plan, and year, and explanations may be incomplete or out of date. You agree to verify important decisions with the responsible office. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wayluma and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Wayluma and delete your care circle at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or that we must close for legal or security reasons.
Changes and disputes
We may update these terms and will post changes here. Disputes and governing law will be addressed as counsel finalizes this section. Questions: hello@wayluma.care.
